Most smartphones currently in use come with NFC capabilities, which have a wide range of applications in real life. So, what is NFC?
NFC stands for Near Field Communication, which is a short-range wireless communication technology. The applications of NFC technology on mobile phones mainly include the following five categories:
1、Touch and Go: Such as access control, tickets, and admission passes. Users can simply bring the device storing the ticket or access control password close to the card reader, and it can also be used for logistics management.
2、Touch and Pay: For example, contactless mobile payments, where users can make payments and confirm transactions by bringing their device close to a POS machine equipped with an NFC module.
3、Touch and Connect: Connecting two NFC devices (such as a phone and a laptop in Figure 1) for point-to-point (Peer-to-Peer) data transfer, such as downloading music, exchanging photos, and sharing contact lists.
4、Touch and Explore: Users can bring their NFC-enabled phones close to NFC-capable smart public phones or posters on the street to browse information such as transportation details.
5、Load and Touch: Users can receive or download information via GPRS network for functions such as payment or access control. As mentioned earlier, users can send a specific format of SMS to the housekeeper’s mobile phone to control the housekeeper’s access to the residence.
Today, we mainly discuss how to confirm whether the NFC function on an Apple mobile phone can be used normally. If your Apple phone is broken and needs repair, you should pay attention. The components that implement the NFC function are mainly in the back cover and the related wiring on the back cover. If the back cover is replaced, it is necessary to test whether this function is still normal after the maintenance is completed. Currently, some of the repair parts on the market may have issues with the NFC function, and the parts cannot detect the NFC function during the repair test.
When testing, if the NFC software does not prompt anything and does not detect the existence of an IC card, it is a problematic product. When the NFC function is incomplete, we cannot use the contact payment function. We recommend that customers test the repair parts simply when they receive them and test again after the repair is completed to ensure the function is complete, avoiding repeated disassembly and damage to the device.
When testing, if the NFC test software prompts the detection of an IC card, it indicates that the repair parts have NFC functionality.Only a mobile phone with complete NFC functionality can realize the payment function and many other convenient features.
The repair parts we currently provide to customers will undergo a complete functional test, and we can also assemble the parts required by the customer according to their needs, helping customers to repair their products more quickly and effectively.
