Is your Google Pixel 6 fingerprint sensor not working? Google has received multiple complaints against its new Google Pixel 6 device with its fingerprint scanning, causing inconvenience to uses.
Another situation is the case about you accidentally remove the fingerprint when replacing the LCD screen, or your original Google Pixel phone does not have fingerprints.
For the above problems, we have sorted out specific solutions if you want to implement the fingerprint unlocking function by installing or replacing a new fingerprint.
Let’s take Google Pixel 6 Pro/7 Pro as examples:
First, Find a disassembled cracked screen with a original fingerprint, and attach the cracked screen cable to the phone you want to have fingerprint unlock function.
Second, Use the computer to open the Google Calibration Fingerprint official website. https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/udfps ;
Third, Connect this phone and computer with a data cable.
Fourth, Turn off the phone and enter engineering mode, connect the phone to the website, and click Update Phone.
Fifth, When the website shows that the update is complete, unplug the phone.
Sixth, Remove the fingerprint from the exploded screen. Note that the fingerprint is very fragile. It is best to use a heating table to heat the LCD first, then drop a little 530 around the fingerprint, and then use a pick to gently pry it open. If there are no cracks on the fingerprint, it is good.
Finally, Install the removed fingerprint onto the new LCD and install it for use.
Note: The operation process is simple, but requires certain maintenance experience and great care.
